The Socastee Braves Varsity Wrestling Team defeated Conway High School in the first round of playoffs with a 53-30 score. Getting wins in the match were Jordan Williams, Marlee Singletary, Jakob Antidormi, Landon Jackloski, Christopher Munoz, Gavin Maxwell, Michael Kegler, Aven Price and Aiden Scales. The win is the first for Socastee in the playoffs since 2016. Round 2 took place immediately after against St. James High School. St James won the dual with a 44-36 score. The Braves now focus on the individual portion of their season and will prepare for Lower States on February 14th.
