Socastee High School Athletic Department has a “24 Hour” rule regarding meeting with coaches. Please do not approach coaches before, during, or after games and practices about playing time. Please follow these steps as detailed in our pre-season parent meetings:

  1. Have an honest conversation with your student-athlete about what they are doing in practice and/or the classroom to earn playing time.
  2. Have your student-athlete setup a time to talk to their coach.
  3. Talk to your student-athlete after that meeting and then if needed....
  4. Setup a meeting with the coach, your student-athlete and yourself to discuss the concerns
    1. Please do not ask for a meeting right after a game or practice
    2. We have a 24 hour policy for reason
  5. Setup a meeting with the Coach, the Athletic Director, yourself, and your student-athlete, if needed
  6. Setup a meeting with the Athletic Director, yourself, and your student-athlete, if needed
  7. Setup a meeting with the School Administrator, yourself, and your student-athlete, if needed
