Socastee High School Athletic Department has a “24 Hour” rule regarding meeting with coaches. Please do not approach coaches before, during, or after games and practices about playing time. Please follow these steps as detailed in our pre-season parent meetings:

  1. Have an honest conversation with your student-athletes
  2. Have your student-athlete setup a time to talk to their coach.
  3. Talk to your student-athlete after that meeting.
  4. Setup a meeting with the coach
    1. Please do not ask for a meeting right after a game or practice
    2. We have a 24 hour policy for reason
  5. Setup a meeting with the coach and Athletic Director, if needed
  6. Setup a meeting with the Athletic Director
  7. Setup a meeting with school Administrator
