This week, ground was broken on the new Athletic Complex at the site of the old Socastee Elementary School/Bus Office across River Road from Socastee HS. The 1st phase will see a new tennis court complex being built and scheduled to be ready for the start of the Women's season this Fall. Other phases will include a new Softball field, Baseball field, batting cages, and pressbox areas. Eventually two new practice fields will be built to handle soccer and lacrosse needs.
