The Socastee Braves Varsity Wrestling Team traveled to Hartsville High School this weekend to compete in the annual Red Fox Rumble Individual Tournament. Socastee finished 6th out of 25 overall in team points and had two wrestlers place in the top 3 of their weight class. Junior Michael Kegler placed 2nd in the 150 pound weight class and Junior Gavin Maxwell placed 3rd in the 144 pound weight class. Socastee hosts Aynor High School this coming Tuesday. All three levels of our program (middle school, JV and Varsity) will be wrestling Aynor in dual competition. Wrestling starts at 6. Let's pack the gym with black and gold!!
