Congrats to the Women's Swim Team for finishing 10th overall at the SCHSL AAAAA D2 Meet at the Blatt Natatorium at the University of South Carolina. Great Job Ladies!! Form the Coaches: Team, The Girls put an Exclamation point on our season! They finished in 10th place, the first time the Girls have ever been Top Ten! The State Team was: Maddie, McKenzie, Sammy, Kyleigh, Madison M, Peyton, Anisten, Madison E & Morgan. Out of 29 swims, there were 17 PBs! Every swimmer had at least one PB! Maddie earned a Podium finish with 3rd place in the 100 Back!!! In the process, she set a new Socastee School record! Other Individual State points were garnered by Maddie, 13th in the 100 Fly and Sammy: 14th in the 50 Free & 20th in the 100 Free! The 200 Medley Relay: Maddie, Kyleigh, Madison M & Sammy finished 11th with a PB and came within 0:39 seconds of setting a new school record! The 200 Free Relay: McKenzie, Kyleigh, Sammy & Maddie finished 9th with another PB and Sammy & Maddie both had sub 26 splits! Our "B" 400 Free Relay had the highest Socastee relay finish of the meet: 8th in the State! Madison M, Peyton, Anisten & McKenzie each had PB splits, with Anisten going 59.91!
