Carson Port and Ruth Hensley were selected as this year's 1st Annual recipients of the Derrick L. Hilton Memorial Scholarship. Each student received $500 to help with the cost of continuing their education after graduation. Both displayed the characteristic that made Coach Hilton so special and such an important member of the Socastee family.
