Week 5 Pools and Palms Athlete of the Week is Layla Holladay, Women’s Cross Country. Layla won the Pee Dee Classic on Saturday. Her grit to regain the lead showed a strength that was unrivaled and helped win her team the race. Layla has chosen her Honors English IV teacher, Ms. Troiani. Layla says Ms. Troiani is such a her worker and she is so compassionate about her job and her students. She brings a ton of energy to her students. Congrats to Layla and Ms. Troiani.
