Last Thursday evening the Socastee High School Athletic Department held it's annual Senior Athletic Dinner and Awards Night at Palmetto Pointe Church. The meal was catered by Moe's Original BBQ in Myrtle Beach and The "Voice of the Braves" Matt Parris was the MC. Every Senior Letterman was honored with a plaque and those that earned SCHSL Scholar Athlete Statues were recognized as well. 4 faculty and staff members earned the following awards: Pools & Palms Staff Member of the Year: Michelle Tangires Assistant Coach of the Year: JC Buleman - Football and Men's lacrosse Sub Varsity Head Coach of the Year: Carter Chappelle - Men's JV Soccer HTC Varsity Head Coach of the Year: Gracie Hinson - Men's Volleyball 8 Senior Student-Athletes earned the following awards: Hudson-Carr Teammate of the Year: Wade Campbell - Football & Men's Lacrosse Spirit of the Brave Awards: MIley Graves - Cheerleading and Women's Soccer Female Scholar Athlete of the Year: Kaitlyn Malena - Bravettes Male Scholar Athlete of the Year: Hayes Hardwick - Football & Baseball Female Athlete fo the Year: Maya Patel - Women's Golf Male Athlete of the Year:: Jase Wethington - Men's Volleyball Lady Brave of the Year: Bri Smith - Women's Golf and Women's Basketball Brave of the Year: Michael Kegler - Football, Wrestling, & Men's Lacrosse Thank you to the Class of the 2026....
