Over the course of the weekend, we had roughly 80 Braves and Future Braves take the wrestling mat in two different locations as they all ramp up to get ready for their shot at a state championship. Meanwhile our JV Braves and both our Forestbrook Gators and Socastee Warriors Middle Schools traveled to Aynor High School to compete in the area qualifier tournament Every eligible wrestler competed for their shot at making it to the Carolina Invitational later this month. Today's tournament was step one and they had to finish in the top 5 of their weight class to move on to the Coastal Sectional next weekend in Summerville. In total we are sending 22 JV and middle school wrestlers to Summerville for stage 2 of qualifying.
