The Socastee Football Team is collecting new and used ( in good shape) Teddy Bears /Stuffed Animals of all shapes and sizes for our annual community service project. Our recipients this year will be ActiveDay of the Grand Strand, who serves adults with Down Syndrome, Autism, or any developmental, intellectual disability, and aging seniors who may require daily support or are experiencing cognitive decline such as Dementia or Alzheimer’s. For more info, please visit the following link: Click Here/. You may drop off any items you wish to donate in the box outside Coach Hamp's office on the athletic hall. It will be marked Teddy Bear Drop-off. We will be collecting these stuffed animals up until our Dec 15th (visitation day). If you need any help with delivering Teddy Bears to the drop off area, contact any football player or coach and we will gladly help take them off your hands. Thank you again for all your help with this project. If you are not aware of what we do with this community service project, we take the teddy bears that we collect and walk through the facility as a large group visiting each and every room and give each person a teddy bear and wish them a Merry Christmas. It is such a JOY to see the smiles on the faces and their appreciation of taking a few minutes to stop by and spend time with them and wish them a MERRY CHRISTMAS.
