Last night the Varsity competition cheer team competed in the state qualifying competition at Spring Valley High School. This team has worked incredibly hard throughout the season and their efforts paid off in a big way! We scored higher than we have at any competition over the last four years landing us in the top 20 of teams in our state. Maryn Bailey and Miley Graves led their team with high tumbling scores and perfect timing. Flyer, Haven Herriott, with the support of her stunt group Jayden Cook, Sienna Neuman and Jayde Villanueva competed a perfect stunt routine with no deductions. Flyer, Madison McDonnell, along with her stunt group, Alivia Douglas, Heidi Ellis and Caroline Williams performed an elite body position skill for the first time all season leading us to higher routine composition scores. Overall, every athlete worked hard and fought to bring back a big sense of pride and accomplishment to our Brave tribe! Stay tuned for next season and Go Braves!
