Pools and Palms Week 2 Athlete of the Week is Max Duke, Men’s Volleyball. Max has been a huge part of the early success for the Men’s Volleyball team. They finished 4-1 and took second place at the Byrnes Spikefest Tournament. Max stepped up and has taken on the role of setter and helped the team to their very first win over rival CF. Max has chosen to recognize Mrs. Lange his English 1 Honors and English 2 Honors teacher. Max says Mrs. Lange was a terrific teacher and she puts a lot of effort into her students and makes sure to show interest in them beyond the classroom. She makes English and exciting class.
