We’re excited to welcome our new Women’s Tennis Coach Joy Hucks, a proud alumnus of Socastee High School, where she played varsity tennis for six years and graduated in 2019. Her passion for tennis and commitment to student development led her to Clemson University, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching. She currently teaches 4th grade at Socastee Elementary, where she brings the same energy and dedication to the classroom as she does to the court. Last season, she served as assistant coach under Coach Jason Williams, gaining valuable experience and building strong connections with the team. Growing up in the Socastee community has given Coach Hucks a strong connection to both the school and its athletic programs. Her background as a player, educator, and assistant coach has prepared her well to lead the team with focus and enthusiasm this season. "Once A Brave, Always A Brave"
