Week 5 Pools and Palms Athlete of the Week is Nathan Ludeman, Men’s Swimming. Nathan is Captain of the Boys swim team. He won both the 100 Freestyle and the 100 Backstroke at the 16 team Socastee Invitational this past Saturday and he led the boys to a 1st place finish in the 200 Medley Relay! His swimming sparked them to an overall 1st place finish in this large meet which included all the teams in the northeast SC Region! He is currently ranked 3rd in the state in the 50 Freestyle and 4th in the 100 Backstroke! Nathan has chosen to recognize his IB Psychology teacher, Mrs. Bogart-Rowan. Nathan chose the adjectives involved and caring to describe Mrs. Bogart-Rowan. She has a classroom atmosphere that promotes everyone and is geared towards learning.
